SECRETARIA DE ESTADO DE DESENVOLVIMENTO ECONÔMICO, ENERGIA, INDÚSTRIA E SERVIÇOS
A Secretaria de Estado de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Energia, Indústria e Serviços (Sedeis), em cumprimento à política de desenvolvimento econômico e social do estado, compete:
a) Formular e executar a política estadual de desenvolvimento nas áreas de energia, logística, indústria, comércio e serviços;
b) Realizar e incentivar estudos e pesquisas nas áreas afins, supervisionando a coordenação e execução de planos, programas e projetos;
c) Fomentar os assuntos de interesse do estado relativos às áreas afins, em conjunto com órgãos e entidades dos demais níveis de governo e organismos privados;
d) Manter permanentemente intercâmbio com os órgãos públicos e entidades privadas dos demais níveis de governo e organismos privados;
e) Analisar as solicitações de enquadramento de benefícios fiscais nas áreas de sua competência;
f) Articular-se junto às concessionárias de serviços públicos, visando a otimização desses serviços no que tange aos projetos econômicos que venham a se implantar no estado;
g) Incentivar e apoiar as atividades da iniciativa privada ligadas à indústria, comércio e serviços;
h) Promover a competitividade das entidades governamentais e das empresas instaladas no Estado do Rio de Janeiro.

Prefeitura de Diadema
Diadema é uma cidade cinqüentenária, com cerca de 400 mil habitantes e possui forte tradição industrial. Nos últimos anos, a cidade recebeu grandes investimentos em infraestrutura viária, habitação, saneamento básico, educação, segurança e saúde. Isto elevou a qualidade de vida da população, e tornou Diadema uma excelente opção para investimentos. Ela está entre as 40 maiores cidades do país, é a 14ª economia do Estado de São Paulo, e tem apresentado uma expressiva trajetória de desenvolvimento. Com mais de 1.800 indústrias, 6.000 estabelecimentos comerciais e 12.000 prestadores de serviço, integra um mercado regional no interior da Grande São Paulo com mais de 4 milhões de consumidores.
O desenvolvimento econômico local é pauta do governo municipal desde a origem da cidade. Por essa razão a Prefeitura de Diadema vem se empenhando para promover ações que visam desenvolver e fortalecer as cadeias produtivas existentes, algumas delas realizadas através do Departamento de Articulação e Desenvolvimento Empresarial (DADE), ligado à Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Trabalho. O Departamento é responsável pelo diálogo com as empresas do município de Diadema, com o objetivo de aumentar a competitividade e o grau de inovação das empresas, ampliar as possibilidades de fornecimento das empresas instaladas, apoiar a modernização e aperfeiçoamento dos estabelecimentos industriais, comerciais e de serviços, bem como dar suporte às demandas das empresas do município e daquelas que nele desejam se instalar. Seus principais programas atualmente envolvem o Desenvolvimento Setorial das Indústrias de Plástico e Borracha; Novas Oportunidades de Negócios e Apoio à Inovação; Orientação e localização de empresas; Apoio à formalização e capacitação de pequenos empreendimentos.
